Creating a safe, healthy home shouldn’t be out of reach, and we’re coming together as a community to make sure every neighbor has the tools, information, and support they need.
Join NACD, the Kalamazoo County Health & Community Services Department, and the Kalamazoo Climate Crisis Coalition for an evening focused on practical ways to stay safe during emergencies, reduce environmental pollution, and maintain a healthier home for you and your family.
This event is open to all Northside residents and designed to empower you with knowledge and resources that make a real difference.
What to Expect
Guidance from local experts on home safety, environmental health, and emergency preparedness
Hands-on learning and helpful demonstrations
Access to community partners offering support, tools, and educational materials
Special Giveaways
First 20 attendees will receive a Healthy Home Kit (includes bucket, mop, spray bottle, cleaning solution, mask, gloves, first-aid kit, and more!)
Residents who complete the event survey will qualify to receive a high-quality home air purifier
