Join the Northside Association of Community Development for a special evening with Daniel Henry, a proud product of Kalamazoo’s Northside Community and a current Patent Prosecution Attorney at Marshall Gerstein & Borun LLP in Chicago’s Willis/Sear’s tower.
In this inspiring fireside chat between Daniel and Northside Association for Community Development (NACD) Executive Director Jonathan Yarbrough, Daniel will share his journey including:
• Growing up on the Northside
• Finding discipline and community through sports
• Overcoming the loss of both parents
• Navigating mental health challenges such as Bipolar and Depression
• The importance of his support system and mentorship circle
• Building a career in law fueled by the Kalamazoo Promise.
The program will highlight the power of mentorship, resilience, opportunity, and execution with a reflective conversation about Daniel’s story. The program will also include an engaging Q&A session to engage youth and other members from our community in an open discussion. The event will close with refreshments and conversation, offering a chance for young people to see how their own promise can become a platform for success.
